Install the CLI

Choose where pwrp will run.

Before you install

You need a free Portwarp account and at least one tunnel created in the dashboard. The local service can be started before or after installation, but it must be listening when you test the tunnel.

Verify the installation

Every native installation should make the pwrp command available in a new terminal:

pwrp version
pwrp doctor

If the shell cannot find pwrp, close and reopen the terminal so it reloads your PATH. Platform-specific fixes are included on each installation page.

After installation

Continue with the Quickstart to approve your login and connect a tunnel.
